As a Christian & As an American

Let me just say...

Let it be known that I am a Christian.
Let it be known that as a Christian and God fearing woman I know how God stands on the issue of gay marriage or any immoral sexual behavior. (Romans Chapters 1-2)
Let it be known that although I know He says marriage is between a man and a woman, He does not hate gay people.
Let it be know that he is waiting with arms wide open willing to transform anyone that wants to be saved and changed.
Let it be known that I believe the legalization of gay marriage is a sign that Jesus' second coming is soon.
Let it be known that I do not agree with gay marriage being forced upon religious institutions that do not agree with it.
Let it be known that I find this whole thing an attack from the enemy on the Christian world right before Passover.
Let it be known that God has already given us the victory!
Let it be known that my personal views of gay marriage have nothing to do with what I am about to tell you next...

As an American,

Let it be known that it is unconstitutional for a marriage certificate to be recognized in one state and not recognized in another. (Equal Protection Clause)
Let it be known that is country was NOT founded on Christianity or any other religion.
Let it be known that the constitution clearly makes remarks about religion not being any part of lawmaking.
Let it be known that states have rights and that they should be able to chose whether or not to perform gay marriages in court.
Let it be known, that although states can chose not to perform a ceremony between two gay people, they still need to recognize the marriage certificate from another state.  IT IS THE LAW.
Let it be known, that someone getting married (gay or straight) in New York, Ogden, Salt Lake City, California, etc. does not affect my personal life in any way shape or form.

End.

What is a Christian in One Word

I was curious one day about what makes a person a Christian.  There is a huge difference between a Christian and a convert.

A convert is someone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their savior.  That doesn't necessarily make a person a Christian.  So what is a Christian?

I truely belive that a Christian is a convert that has chosen to live life as a Christian.  Being a Christian is a way of life; an attitude that we chose on a daily basis.  What does a Christian attitude look like?

Easy.  The Bible gives us a list of fruits that someone with a Christian attitude and life exhibits.

Galations 5:16-26

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

A Christian is someone who has chosen to love others over all things. Someone who has chosen to not judge but rather listen to others before coming to conclusion. We say the literal definition of Christian is "Christ-like" but we don't remember that the Word says that God is LOVE.

If He is love and we are like Him, then we should also be love. That is a Christian.

Hizo pecar a Judá. Derramo mucha sangre (2 Reyes 21)

* Se orgullesio
*Dios trata de enseñarle algo, el sigue insistiendo
*Le pasan cosas malas algunas veces a gente buena
*El le pide a Dios que le de mas Vida
* Dios le da 15 años mas.
*Pero su hijo es el peor rey
* Ay que vivir con fe como hizo Job en vez de questionarle a Dios
